One of the last criterias I have added to my list of criterias when picking stocks is:
Does this stock has the potential to go at least 5X or even 10X?
I have read somewhere that if you pick 10 stocks having a potential to go 10X or in other words perform 1000%, even if some of them go bankrupt, the few which might go 10X could make you rich. As you, I guess, realize this is not a new classic quality criteria, it is rather a different way of approaching and evaluating a business. It forces you to search for the best of the best businesses and you start looking at the them from a different perspective.
I plan to list in my blog every year the stocks I think has a potential to go 10X, we will see how they are going to perform in time.
